Life in the Beach

I find beach-living as relaxing. Some people even find a strong spiritual connection in the proximity to a large body of water. The breeze and the smell of water every morning is soul-wakening . It seem timeless, and yet they are constantly transforming themselves making our homes into a tranquil and peaceful living space with light and colour that reflects from the sea.

Beaches are among the most mysterious, and alluring features in our environment.During sunny days water in the sea can really be refreshing, we can even charge visitors for rent when they spend the night over. When there is storm you can feel the anger of waves driving away beach-goers.

Living in the beach is like a wish come true. Waking up in the morning and watch the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee is a sure way complete the day. With a long sand that stretch to kilometres you can run or just walk around and look for amazing shells. In the afternoon you can be with your dog or with your partner. It is not only money we can find in the beach but also healthy living.

The fresh seafood also we can get from the sea is another thing to look forward when you have your house by the beach. There might be danger like tidal waves or shark attacks but the later can be avoided by being cautious when underwater.Well, when storms come over just be ready to equip your self with important things.

We should also be particular with cleanliness of our beaches. There are organizations and groups calling for public to care the marine life, this not really mean we have to dive in but simply not throwing our wastes in the water is already caring those planktons underwater. This makes the beach worth living. Clean Water and Sand.

Sunset in Boulevard

March 14 2009, big boss James decided to take me with them. I was hesitant at first but I go anyway. The destination? Antique.

Jerome's family own the Boulevard lodge, very nice place serene and conducive for rest really.

Only two hours away from Iloilo. We have a nice trip and I have the opportunity again to borrow 500 from jerilee, hahahahaha.

Am I an opurtunista? Nope. because I "DOM" what I borrow. Its one of those few words we are able to make.

Dinagyang Fever Here

DINAGYANg means merry making. Annually Iloilo City celebrates the said festival with excitement. After the New Year's eve we are looking forward to this event.

I remember during my elementary years, my eyes envy those grown up ladies that wears long beautiful dress, they are part of the contesting tribes. They look like mannequins in their no-sleep make up. As I understood they're prepare as early as 2am?

Aside from those beautiful ladies, people look forward also for food, candies, tetra pack juices being thrown by participating company's.

After the mass, you should look over your shoulder to be sure I'm still with my mom. I have to run and peek below those pants and legs to get a glimpse of the tribes making a barrage...my heart pounds so much because of the drums and excitement.

But this year, I was really dis appointed. No tribes inside the church and only few of them afterwards. It seems the tribes are their not to devote but to perform because of the tourism importance. I don't like it.And no more candies thrown, no mascots weaving.

I hope they will go back to old time style.....

Concepcion Sand Bar

I never heard of this beach before but a second life is worth a try when we got there just to enjoy the beach.

I say my second life because nobody can explain my feeling during that time coming back from the island to the main land. By boat with no cover not a single flag to wave if ever...we were soaked to the deepest skin under beneath of everything.

I say this again because my own extra panty inside my bag was no use...

But like I said you can never express my feeling check the pic and try to visit the island during summer. hehehehe
